Hej, skrev detta på ett engelskt forum och orkar inte översätta, tack på förhand!
I just got my Sapphire Radeon R9 290 delivered, and when I had installed the drivers from AMD's website I realised that the performance still wasn't any better than with my old graphics card (MSI 750Ti) while in-game (Both CS:GO and DayZ). I then quickly looked up what clock speed I got out of it, and realised the core clock was at a stable 300mhz, but memory clock was as ut should be (1300mhz).
I then tried to reinstall the drivers a couple of times as well as restarting my computer, but no change seemed to happen. I checked my energy settings and enabled it to never go into sleep mode or similar.
After restarting the computer and unplugging the GPU and reinstalling the drivers it seemed to go exact 1000mhz while ingame, but not increasing in performance. Also, as soon as I tabbed out it went down to 300-400mhz again.
Finally I tried to increase the clock speed manually, although it didn't go up to the already chosen 1000mhz in the first hand, but then only weird flickering on screen showed up (grey pixels showing up everywhere) so I instantly reverted the settings.
Also, by some reason I can't seem to be able to download Catalyst, when I try to download it it just downloads new drivers for the GPU, but no Catalyst program can be seen?
Is there any way of fixing this, as I'm currently only getting a tiny bit of the GPU out and then could just use my old GPU. Is it maybe the drivers which are not good or something similar?
What can I do to get everything out of this card as I expected a bit more out of a GPU of this cost.
I'm thankful for any kind of help you're able to contribute with!
